Yes. A 250 x 250 ad was placed on certain influential blogs in the
sector.

A little bit of digital media marketing for ourselves. Taste of our
own medicine!!

FBQT making me a little absent minded..

Walked out of the office on the phone and then 50m outside the office
realized it was not my mobile but my cordless office phone. So I am
going to take both phones to my meeting now!!!

The Tech Scene in China

I had the opportunity to attend a conference in Beijing this past week where I had the privilege of meeting the President of Google China & a number of other large players in the Web2.0 scene here in China.
Two presentations stood out at the conference that I think are must views for all of us here at FQ that are building Web2.0 sites & Online Games & overall generally learning about technology and its impact. I requested the organizers to put these presentations online for us to view.
The first one was by Dr. Kai-fu-Lee, President of Google China on the state of the Chinese Internet:
The second one was by Dave McClure [http://www.crunchbase.com/person/dave-mcclure], Partner in Founders Fund (investors in Mint, Slideshare, etc.) on Startup Metrics that any company should follow in building out its products:
We will begin exploring Startup Metrics and some of the additional learnings from the past week for FQ and in all the products we launch for ourselves as well as our customers.
TechCrunch’s review of the event can be found here:

Here is one that started it off:
In our business, any product or technology we bring out is going to be judged on these two key criteria by our customers:

Is it Free or is it Fantastic?
